Animals, Death and the Spirit World

A note by the author of ‘Dixie’s Tale’, H.E. Joseph

My inspiration for writing this novel came both from personal experience and research. The central character – a West Highland Terrier named Dixie – did not come about purely by chance. His character formed in my mind thanks to numerous anecdotes and inspiring stories I researched and heard at first from many awe-inspiring, loving dog owners, who testified passionately about their belief that their beloved animals have played a pivotal spiritual role in their lives. Some of these stories included individuals whose dogs saved them from death; led them to their lost belongings; or helped them grieve the loss of a loved one who had recently passed away.

It was this last theme in particular that struck a chord with me. From all that I have read and heard about dogs (and, indeed, many other animals) and their relationship with their human counterparts, there is a very strong sense amongst pet owners that their animals possess real souls, personality – and even intellect. Most of all, many pet owners appear to hold the strong conviction that the soul and spirit of their adored and faithful animal companion has an impact on their earthly life – even after their pet’s passing to the spiritual realms upon their physical death. It is almost as though their pet acts as some kind of guardian angel or spirit guide whilst on earth – and then, once more, from inside the spiritual realms.

And thus Dixie, the central character in ‘Dixie’s Tale’, can be seen affecting, manipulating and commenting upon the lives and dilemmas faced by the human characters in the book (without giving too much away about the storyline!). This West Highland Terrier’s story is completely entwined and synchronised with the lives of his human counterparts – both before and after his earthly ‘death’.

Indeed death and grief are the central themes of the novel. I examine in particular the grief that can arise through miscarriage and child loss – simply because I have direct and personal experience of this. It is so often the case that some of the rawest forms of grief are not articulated, but ‘Dixie’s Tale’ looks at these issued head-on: it does not shy away from topics that can so often seem taboo or unspeakable. Dixie’s character in particular looks at issues of life, death and grief directly and in a practical manner. His role throughout the book is to convince the human beings whose lives he has been part of (both on earth and in the spiritual realms) that death never means separation or the end – whether we are human or animal.

Dixie is hopefully successful in fulfilling this role.

‘Dixie’s Tale’ – an Overview

On a warm July afternoon, in a leafy setting, in Buckinghamshire, England, a West Highland Terrier pup is born to the world.

Dixie is destined to affect the lives of many human beings on earth. Among them are Susan and Ray Carmichael – cosmetic dentists at an exclusive London clinic – who are grieving the loss of their baby son; unhappily married Matthew Rourke, who has just been made redundant from an exclusive London shoe store; and the very affluent Morgan family, who are harbouring many deep and painful secrets from their past.

All of these people are connected more deeply than they can possibly know. But it is up to Dixie to magically merge their past, present and future lives together.

EDGAR CAYCE'S STORY OF THE SOUL OF JOHN THE BAPTIST

The soul of John the Baptist was apparently not reincarnated at the time of the readings of the legendary American mystic, Edgar Cayce. I will explain the 'apparently' reference as we proceed with our story, but first we shall look at the information in the Scriptures and the Edgar Cayce readings linking the soul of John the Baptist to the renowned prophet Elijah/Elias. Elijah's story is recounted in I Kings, Chapters 17 to 21, and II Kings, Chapters 1 and 2. I am not going to retell his story here, except for his demise. Somewhat similar to Enoch in Genesis 5:24, and Jesus the Christ at the Ascension after the Resurrection, in Mark 16:19, Luke 24:50-51, and Acts 1:9-11, Elijah did not die but was taken up in a whirlwind into Heaven, as revealed in II Kings 2:1-11.

We now turn our attention to the Edgar Cayce readings. "25. ... These had been part of the records [DS: compiled by the Essenes] from those in Carmel, in the early experiences, as of those given by Elijah, - who was the forerunner, who was the cousin [DS: of Jesus], who was the Baptist." [DS: Reading 1010-17.] "9. Did not John come as the voice of one crying in the wilderness and in the spirit of Elijah? Yet he WAS Elijah." [1158-6] The Gospels of Matthew 17:10-13, and of Mark 9:11-13, also imply or state that John the Baptist was the reincarnation of Elias/Elijah the prophet.

I mentioned earlier that John was apparently not reincarnated at the time of the Edgar Cayce readings. I made that statement because a reading on October 18, 1935, identified the spirit of John the Baptist as the mentor to the reading recipient. "17. The entity from those experiences in the periods of waiting, as many, doubted; yet in the presence of Him - as He increased, and as many of the disciples of John became doubtful when Herod putting forth his hand slew him ... there came the days when Edithia [DS: Her name in her Palestine incarnation.] was with those great crowds that cried, "Hosanna! Ye come in the name of the Lord!"

“27. (Q) What relation did the experience had by Edgar Cayce, of seeing a mentor at the period of my last reading, have with my development. Give name if possible. (A) Here we have a most holy experience. ... This AGAIN is indeed him that PROCLAIMED that the day of the Lord IS at hand - John. It is indicated in the very manner of his garb; as of one clothed and his raiment shall be white as snow, and they whose sins have been as crimson shall be washed and as wool. His feet are not of clay; his feet are not as brass, but as of gold - that bespeaks of the endearing messages that may be brought to thee and thine, that thou may indeed NOW, FULFIL that for which THEN thou didst dedicate thy life; ... 28. (Q) What relation of John to the White Brotherhood? (A) As then [DS: as John], the leader; now [DS: in spirit] among the head of the Brotherhood." [587-6]

In a nut-shell, the Brotherhood is a group of highly developed souls, whether incarnated or in spirit, that are apparently the most-gifted Teaching Masters of God's Laws. John and Jesus both received training from and were tested by these Teaching Masters in Egypt. "In this same pyramid [DS: the Great Pyramid in Egypt] did the Great Initiate, the Master, take those last of the Brotherhood degrees with John, the forerunner of Him, at that place." [5748-5] "5. (Q) To what extent are the Masters of the Great White Brotherhood directing the activities of Edgar Cayce? Who are the Masters directly in charge? (A) MESSENGERS from the higher forces that may manifest from the Throne of grace itself. 6. (Q) Who are the Masters directly in charge? ... (A) (Interrupting) Those that are directed by the Lord of lords, the King of kings, Him that came that ye might be one with the Father." [254-83]

Mrs. 587 was indeed most-blessed to have the spirit and soul of John the Baptist and the prophet Elijah as her mentor.

JESUS' SECRET HEALING

When we read the accounts in the Gospels of the trial of Jesus and His sentencing by Pilate to death on the cross, it becomes rather obvious that Pilate tried his best to rescue Jesus from His destined fate, and that it was ultimately the Jewish Sanhedrin and their vociferous group of supporters that were the primary cause of the crucifixion of Jesus. Pilate had a personal reason to protect Jesus - not too long before that fateful day, Jesus had healed Pilate’s son who was afflicted with epilepsy. Here is that story as recorded in the Edgar Cayce readings.

None of the reincarnated souls of Pilate, his wife, or their son, had life readings from Edgar Cayce, if they were reincarnated at that time, but a number of people who were close to Pilate’s family were reincarnated and did have life readings. Mr.1217 learned that he had played a significant role in this healing. "21. For the entity then was of Pilate's own guard. The entity was given the privilege of being the companion or guard for Pilate's wife that brought their afflicted or epileptic son to the Master for healing. 22. Then in the name Romoluon, the entity gained; ..." [Edgar Cayce reading 1217-1]

Miss 324 also witnessed this healing in an earlier lifetime. "19. The entity then was among those of the household of Herod Antipas that made for such destructive influences in the minds of many as respecting those relationships with the activities of the Master. Yet when there had been those activities in which Eloin (the entity's name then) saw in person the healing of Bartimaeus and then the healing of the son of the Roman governor, the entity joined rather (with those that were of the royalty) with those people that aided in the distribution of the activities and in helping those people that made for the activities in many directions. While these activities were what would be called "under cover" in the period, the heart, the soul, the desire of the entity made for a period of contentment and peace, yet without turmoils and strife." Miss 1754 discovered that she was also privy to this secret when she was incarnated as a friend of Pilate’s wife. "43. There ye heard much from those of that land. For thy associations, thy environs during the experience brought thee in close associations with many of those of both sexes in authority in that land. For ye heard from the lips of Pilate's wife of how He healed her son that was a lunatic, an epileptic as ye would call. These made impressions upon thy mind during that experience, that sojourn. And ye wavered oft as to what would be thy choice, as to which group ye would join thyself when there were those as Paul, as Peter, who came, - Titus, Philemon. For ye were in the household of that family in which Philemon was a servant. 44. The name then was Teleman, ..." [1754-1]

Miss 1207, though not present for the healing in her Palestinian incarnation, was deeply moved by the revelation of this miracle. "24. The entity then was among the entertainers at the court of Herod. And if the entity will read oft the record of the dance of those that asked for the head of John the Baptist, there will come - with meditations - a feeling of emotions that may not be aroused by any other sort of experience. 25. Yet when those of that court came under the influence of the teachings of the Master, when there were the healings of Pontius Pilate's son by the Master, the entity then joined with those that are rather later spoken of as the holy women - that followed afar, yea and made for many preparations for those that were to come under the persecutions of those in the latter days. 26. The entity then, in the name Cleopeo, gained throughout; for those experiences in pomp and power, in the lowly walks among the needy, the persecuted, brought for the entity an inner feeling that should be kept even as the light burning within the heart ever, that may make for that as its ideal in all of its experiences in the present, even as it in the former appearances and experience held to the Law of One which was exemplified as the same through those teachings given by Him who was to the entity the friend and the Savior." In his Palestinian lifetime, Mr. 1151 had been not only the husband of Jesus’ sister Ruth, but a Roman in a high position of authority overseeing the area and reporting his findings to the Caesars, as evidenced in his readings. "40. (Q) I would like to know a more detailed account of the report I made to Rome concerning the Christian movement in Palestine. (A) ... At the time when there was the recalling of Pilate, and the reports that had been made as to the activities of the wife of Pilate as related to the healing that had been accomplished in the household, then we find a very FAVORABLE report to the Christians - though the entity was questioned much by those who were directly under the supervision of the entity. But the report was accepted by the Roman emperor and acted upon according to the directions of the entity; that Pilate be removed, and one closer in association or in sympathy with the Christian movement be appointed in the stead - as is seen or is recorded by profane history as well as by intimation in sacred history." [1151-10]

It appears that the healing of Pilate’s son was not such a secret after all. The Apostles and other disciples of Jesus probably were aware of it. If so, was it deemed not significant enough to be written down in the sacred writings, or might it have been originally in the sacred writings and not selected for the scriptures, or even removed from the scriptures in one of the later rewrites? I would love to know the answer to that one!

Orb 'Injections'

Photo from Bob NortonThis particular journey was to meet the spirit of and to obtain as much information as possible from the vertical orbs within Bob’s photograph:

I was immediately told that these orbs could best be described as an ‘injection’ of the earth’s consciousness that were needed at a specific place/point. Although I was previously aware that ‘columns’ of orbs existed at many places on the earth, these specific orbs were different in that they did not contribute to ‘Sylphic’ energy within the atmosphere – they were more precise with their role or function.

I then proceeded to ask a series of questions about these orbs and their role:

Q: Why does/would an injection occur?

A: To illuminate that specific area with greater consciousness.

Q: How high does this/these injections travel?

A: Anywhere between 10 to 30 metres – any higher and the consciousness dissipates into ‘Sylphic’ energies. The injections allow the orb consciousness to permeate or filter down into that specific or calculated area.

Q: Why is this injection not of the same quality i.e. colour?

A: Because every part where it falls needs a different quantity of energy.

Q: Why was the photographer allowed to photograph this injection?

A: They were simply as you call it ‘lucky.’ They were in the right place at the right time.

Q: Have you any other information about these injections of consciousness?

A: They are mostly for the plant Kingdom and not for humans. Sometimes they are used for buildings or specific areas, such as dolmens etc. to help raise its or a part of its vibration – they also help to heal those areas.

Q: Do these injections occur at specific times or dates?

A: When it/ they are needed.

Q: Are there any other (unknown) types of this mechanism?

A: Yes – many more – these shall also be revealed later.

Q: Do and if so how do elementals play a part in these injections?

A: The same way they always do – you have written about this before.

Q: Do they happen more at night or during the day?

A: Obviously more during the day when the Sun’s energy helps to photosynthesize – the moon’s energy also helps to play a smaller part.

Q: Was I initially correct then about the ‘fan’ idea/knowledge?

A: Yes, of course.

Q: Is there anything else you wish to tell me about these injections?

A: Not unless you ask. However, if you can’t think of asking a relevant question, you Know you can ask later – tell Mary-Jean that.

Q: How do know Mary-Jean?

A: Mary-Jean is love – we are love – you are love.

Q: Is there anything you wish to say to Mary-Jean at this time either about orbs or anything else?

A: Tell her we know her; we love her and we hold her heart in our heart (this was slightly emotional!)

At this stage you know what we are going to say – ‘WE’ and Mary-Jean are ONE – we are all ONE.

Q: Can I come back again and ask other questions?

A: Of course. All you have to do is ask – we have always been here for you and mankind – and of course the earth.

Orbs as ‘accelerator’ or a ‘driver’ energy.

This was information which I received from my Upper World guide in respect of Bob Norton’s photos:

My guide showed me what was happening from a side-view. I initially watched a stream of energy emanating from the ground surface and as it got to a few metres above the ground, it opened into what I could best describe as a ‘Starburst firework’. The firework separated into about 4 or 5 bits of light energy with what seemed like attachments of ‘hearts’ and the word ‘love’ beside them. These hearts and love spread over quite a wide area. The image panned out so that I could now see other Starbursts do the same; in this way a very large area was covered with these energies.

These Starbursts were to act as a precedent for what was to follow which was the emergence of the Earth’s consciousness via multiple orbs; the orbs (themselves) are the parts, the nodules, of the earth’s consciousness.

Before the emergence of the earth’s consciousness via orbs, the Starbursts were released from their bubbling layer on top to prepare the way. This happened all over the world and at all times, especially at certain Celtic date times (8 of them in total) such as Imbolc and Samhain; these are the dates when the earth’s consciousness changed the most. I got the feeling that they are very rarely seen or occur over water, mostly over land, because they are to aid the growth of living material which in turn manifests various nature spirits such as elves and fairies.

The Starbursts are like the bubbling energetic precursors of consciousness (of the earth) before the peak of orbs are released at specific prevalent dates or times of the year.

They therefore are not orbs in the traditional sense as we know, but can best be described as an ‘accelerator’ or a ‘driver’ energy.

As they emerge from within the top bubbling earth layer, they accelerate into our heavy 3^rd dimension, slow down and burst open, paving the way with hearts and love for the orbs – it’s a bit like paving the way with rose petals.

These driver or accelerator energies are not single entities though, for they are composed of multiple pulses of conscious energy. As they near their Starburst opening, the multiple pulses ‘bump’ into one another, thus spreading their (love) energies. As energies slow down and bump into faster or higher energies in front of them, this constitutes the different colours of the ‘drivers’ as the background sunlight is refracted through them.

“ORBS, an Alternative View”

I, like many others, have been recently attracted to the concept of the orb phenomena, gained from the advent of digital photography.

            However, my experiences with orbs are rather unique, given that one autumn morning, several years ago, I had the privilege of ‘meeting’ a garden deva, her accompanying orb and a group of small elementals.

            I am aware that I possess clairvoyant abilities to see spirits, elves, fairies, devas, orbs and more, but that autumn morning encounter was different. It was different because the garden deva and her orb initiated the meeting and not the other way round.

To summarise; during this encounter with the deva and her orb, I was allowed to witness small, living, worm-like entities that were contained within the orb. The orb and these small living entities were of the same pulsating colour as that of the garden deva and it was the deva who seemed to have had complete control over the orb and these ‘elemental-type’ entities. From this encounter and other clairvoyant and shamanic experiences, I have come to realise that my perspective is different and distinct to that of the norm.

            We are all striving to reach the ultimate goal of returning to Source through a series of past life incarnations, where each time we seek to cross the ‘Rainbow Bridge’ and return to the Monadic plane of pure consciousness. Nature spirits also exist to seek Source by following energetic, lemniscate connections through higher dimensions, albeit on a parallel path to ours.

The study of orbs is an on-going process but my experiences with orbs simply originate from a different and unique source, it is simply ‘An Alternative View of Orbs’.

The small, living elementals within the orb suggest to me that orbs have several functions or roles:

Firstly, my experience suggests that orbs can be used as containers of consciousness to house and transport small, living, worm-like entities – ‘elementals’. These elementals are then absorbed by each living thing on earth to help and sustain their growth. Most of the orbs are internally absorbed from their 5th dimension within the earth to the 5^th dimensional aspect of the plant, such as root hairs and roots. Some orbs do not follow this pathway and ‘escape’ the surface of the earth’s consciousness. These orbs are either externally absorbed by living organisms or else they rise up into the atmosphere, following 5^th dimensional lemniscate patterns, where they help to form Sylph-like entities. These particular orbs can also be highly attracted to energy portals, where lemniscate energy flows between the veil and into higher dimensions.

            Secondly, it can be suggested that orbs are actually part of the earth’s living consciousness, albeit with an extremely small magnitude. The release of these orbs into living organisms is an on-going process all year round, however, the quantities of orbs released, waxes and wanes according to the eight Celtic festival dates e.g. Imbolc ~ 2^nd February. The amount of these earth consciousness orbs will differ in each hemi-sphere according to the specific related season; the earth is a living entity that has its own consciousness which is on a parallel but different path to that of mankind. The deva and orb consciousness can nowadays be photographed by digital cameras in the infra-red part of the Electromagnetic Spectrum.

            All living things including devas, orbs, elementals, elves and fairies exist to seek Source. They do this via a series of lemniscate or figure of eight contours and links, facilitated by devas of high rank, which direct and control the consciousness of these energies from the earth through to Source. These high-rank devas control the characteristics of the orbs, such as colour, size, and density. The deva also controls how the orbs change to their natural environment and their interaction with humans; she does all of this through her energy exchange via these series of lemniscates. The lemniscates increase in size from the direction of the earth (upwards) toward Source and decrease in size from Source (downward) toward the earth.

            Humans, the earth, nature spirits and the Spirit World are all inextricably connected via these 3-dimensional lemniscates.

Q         What type of link does the earth’s consciousness have to all living things?

From the highest to the lowest dimensions, all consciousness is linked and interlinked via these 3-dimensional, figure of eight lemniscates. All downward energy from the Spirit World through to the earth flows through these lemniscate, figure of eight energy contours.

Q         Do Orbs have intelligence?

Orbs have intelligence only in so far as commanded by the local deva. The amount of individualised consciousness orbs have is almost zero, therefore, they do not ‘decide’ what to do, but are simply told or directed. The local deva commands the orbs where to go and what to do, all done via the 3-dimensional, lemniscate energy contours.

Q         How do Orbs affect our environment?

Orbs are the conscious energy of the earth that is absorbed by all living things to help them physically and spiritually grow. When the required season for that part of the world arises, the number of orbs increases to accelerate and sustain growth; the reverse happens during the approach of the winter months. The earth constantly releases a stream of orbs of different quantity and quality all year round, since the roots etc. still require some consciousness to be sustained.

Q         Why are Orbs different colours, sizes etc?

The different colours of orbs represent the different amounts of conscious energies they have attained from the earth. Different quantities of this consciousness are required for different purposes for each independent living organism. The different colours and sizes of orbs are linked to how much consciousness a plant, building or person needs to absorb – all controlled and directed by the local deva.

Q         Do any energy entities inhabit these Orbs?

Small worm-like elementals inhabit these orbs. The orbs carry the higher consciousness of the elementals (controlled by the deva) to be absorbed by the living organism that needs it. Both the energy consciousness of the orb and the elementals are absorbed into the roots of the plant. Those orbs and their elementals that leave the surface of the earth can be absorbed by the exterior part of the plant e.g. a branch, leaf etc. Those orbs that do not attach themselves in this way simply move through the lemniscate system and up into the atmosphere where they can help to form Sylph-like energies.

Q         Are Orbs nature spirits within that locale?

Orbs are not nature spirits per se; it is the elementals within them that are the nature spirits. Orbs, although originating from within the earth and having the tiniest of consciousness, are really vehicles for the transfer and absorption of the elementals to living organisms. These elementals help to develop higher degrees of consciousness and therefore sustain growth.

Q         Are Orbs fixed spots of Timelessness and Oneness from different dimensions?

            Single Orbic consciousness is so small that the energy from the human chakras

would overwhelm it in any connection. When multiple orbs join together with greater consciousness, the lemniscate connection would then allow timelessness and oneness to occur, acting in essence like a larger spot or controlled portal.

Q         Are Orbs linked to the Earth’s Ley Lines?

Since orbs are vehicles that carry the natural earth’s consciousness into all living things, it would seem natural to assume there would be a concentration increase along these lines.

            There are a multitude of unseen 5^th dimensional Ley lines of lemniscate connection rising in an upward movement to at least the planetary deva level.

Q         Do Orbs have any association with ghosts?

It seems very unlikely that orbs have a ‘direct’ link to ghosts as we perceive them. Ghosts are simply the remnant energy left behind after a spirit has visited us, then departed; we can then see and feel what their energetic imprint was as they were previously here.

            When a person has passed away and now resides in a different dimension, they may of course see orbs of light there, but these orbs are not of the same earthly consciousness. Many spirits who have passed have multi-dimensional characteristics and one of these many traits may to manifest as orbs in that dimension – though really a multi-dimensional orb of different consciousness. My grandmother who has passed over may manifest to me as an orb spirit of high consciousness or she may clairvoyantly appear to me via a portal which looks like an orb – these are streams of higher consciousness and are not associated with earth conscious orbs.

Q         Why are Orbs linked to human emotions?

Humans emit powerful energetic energy from each chakra (depending on the emotion) focusing through the heart and out into Nature. These highly energetic strands of emotional energy attach themselves to nature’s consciousness via 3-dimensional lemniscate connections. For elementals to grow in consciousness and become say a flower fairy or tree faun, they too must follow these inherent, deva controlled, lemniscate connections. Earth consciousness orbs would therefore be attracted to these emotional energy strands being emitted by a human. This is also what happens when a person connects, Oneness occurs, and the person can clairvoyantly see orbs and elementals.

Q         Why are Orbs round?

The release of 5^th dimensional orbs from the earth’s consciousness into globular form allows them to be easily absorbed into the 3^rd dimensional energy of plant roots etc. As they move from their 5^th dimension to the 5th dimension of the plant, they release this globular, conscious energy to the plant roots, in addition to the conscious energy contained within the elementals; this energy eventually filters down to the 3^rd dimensional aspect of the plant. The easiest method whereby this ‘absorption’ can occur is via a round, globular shape. Those orbs that do not become absorbed are simply released from the earth’s surface and move vertically upwards in a parabolic fashion to increase the conscious of the atmosphere.

Q         Why are Orbs transparent to background objects?

These earth orbs are of little or no consciousness, so they are even more ethereal than ghosts, elves or fairies.

Q         Why does a desire or wish result in even more Orbs being photographed?

Orbs are simply linked to human emotions via multiple 3-dimensional lemniscate connections.

Q         Why does there seem to be more Orbs attached to ‘special places?’

Monuments, stone circles, churches etc. have their own spirit which acts as a strong focal point for lemniscate connections to the earth and the Spirit World. The conscious energy of the orbs would therefore react to such foci, especially if these sites were sited on Ley line energies.

            Strong human emotional energy may linger within several different dimensions and from previous lifetimes at these sacred sites. Concentrations of elves, fairies and other such nature spirits reside in these areas of natural beauty, controlled of course by the local high-ranked deva.

Q         Where do Orbs reside and what are are they doing when they are not being

            photographed?

Orbs appear in the visible spectrum when photographed due to the process of fluorescence. These are the orbs that leave the earth’s surface and are naturally being absorbed into the earth’s atmosphere, if not externally by a plant leaf etc.

            This degree of absorption continually occurs beneath the ground from the 5^th to (eventually) the 3^rd dimension, whether orbs are being photographed or not. This flow of orbs, from the 5^th dimension to that of the 3^rd dimension, waxes and wanes over the eight Celtic festive dates. It can be likened to that of a 5^th dimensional symbiotic relationship between the earth’s consciousness, via orbs and all things living. This is a living, random and spontaneous process from within a higher dimension as we know it. Although I have mainly referred to ‘living organisms’ in this article, all things, whether living or not, contain a spirit.

            When an orb is photographed and caught on camera a short time later, it may then seemed to have disappeared as the photographer tries to capture it once more. In the meantime, the orb may have moved further within the lemniscate connection, thus allowing a different amount of digital flash to try and capture it again.

Q         Are Orbs linked to Elves and Fairies?

Orbs are composed of extremely small, ethereal consciousness of the earth. They originate within the earth’s 5^th dimension and are released by the greater earth’s consciousness (controlled by the local deva) into the roots of all living organisms. This process occurs all year round but peaks and dips according to the seasons via the eight Celtic festive dates.

            Orbs are also vehicles for small, living, worm-like entities or elementals that are part of the earth’s consciousness. The orbs help to ‘deliver’ this elemental consciousness to wherever it is needed most. Once absorbed by living organisms, the elementals strive to increase their own consciousness into small fairies of different ranks. All of these small nature spirits are on a parallel course to mankind, striving to increase their consciousness until maybe, they might become an individualised deva.

            It is the orbs of the earth which help to initially facilitate this whole process. Although orbs are indirectly linked to elves and fairies, they are not the actual elves and fairies nor unicorns or devas. All of these other, higher dimensional nature spirits have a much greater consciousness relative to orbs. These higher ranked nature spirits communicate and interact with mankind by a completely different process (see article: The Elf & Fairy Revolution on this site) and not by infusing their consciousness into orbs.

Q         Do orbs pulsate?

            Orbs are only seen to pulsate when they contain the smaller, living elementals.

Q         Why do Orbs move?

Orbs have movement energy so their consciousness can be absorbed internally and externally, into living and non-living things. Some orbs may leave the earth’s surface and go directly to an external part of a plant, say a leaf. This is the reason why some orbs have been photographed around, near or within, one part of a living object. Small orbs, having allowed their elementals to be absorbed either internally or externally, may then rise up through 5^th dimensional lemniscate connections toward local portals. The additional catalytic, chakra-energy effect that humans have, no doubt enhance the movement of many orbs to various local portals.

Q         Are Orbs Spiritual Angels?

No, orbs cannot be spiritual angels since angels reside and work from at least the 12^th dimension upwards. Angels cannot therefore be part of the earth’s consciousness and they do not do the work of the elementals or are controlled by lower-rank 5^th dimensional devas. The earth has its own planetary deva that looks after it but this planetary deva is not a spiritual angel.

Q         If Orbs are part of the earth’s consciousness, then why don’t we photograph millions of Orbs around every blade of grass or stalk of barley?

            The earth releases these globular orbs of consciousness into the root hairs, roots etc. to help sustain the living growth of plants. We simply do not see or witness this process happening because like all living organisms, this orbic and elemental consciousness is absorbed into the 5^th dimensional aspect of the plant; this 5^th dimensional consciousness eventually filters its way down into the plant’s physical 3^rd dimension.

                        The same process happens to humans where spiritual, higher energy can filter down into the human’s, physical 3^rd dimension. It is widely acknowledged for a person to feel physically good, they must also feel spiritually good.

Q         If Orbs contain the spirit of dead people or Ascended Masters then why would an Ascended Master’s energy be photographed in some obscure field?

            Orbs are not the embodiment of Ascended Masters; these very highly spiritual beings reside within dimensions above the 12^th level or Monadic level and are served by spiritual angels. Spiritual energy exists within a hierarchical fashion in the universe and orbic energy is simply too small to contain the energy of these beings. When people pass over, they move into various higher dimensions depending upon the activities of their earthly incarnation. Whilst some energy of a dead person may linger or reside in that area, this energy does not go into the making of orbs or their elementals. Elementals are nature spirits and orbic energy is simply the earth’s natural, 5^th dimensional energy.

Q         What are ‘Dark Orbs?

            When the land has become polluted by human interference, it also becomes sick within the different dimensions. As these globular earth orbs are released in the 5^th dimension, their energy has to travel through this ‘dimensional sickness’ and so the orbs become contaminated. This has the effect of killing the plant in the 5^th dimension which later shows up as a dead plant in our 3^rd dimension. Any of these orbs that have escaped the earth’s surface can sometimes be photographed showing this dimensional sickness, in other word dark in colour.

Q         Why are some Orbs seen attached to buildings?

            Although buildings are not living organisms, they still have an attached spirit which lives. External orbs will sometimes attach themselves to the spirit of a building or a particular part of a building where humans live. Since the spirit of the building is alive, then internal orbs will naturally feed into the base of the building helping to replenish and nourish the spirit.

                        I once met the spirit of my own house: It was at least three times greater than the size of the house and it mainly resided over the kitchen and dining room area; this was the place where we were most active in the house, thus the greater concentration of spirit activity. The outline of the spirit was that of a huge S-shape, indicating its energy followed the format of lemniscate connections.

Q         Why are Orbs sometimes seen rising up in parabolic columns?

            These ‘parabolic’ orbs can be photographed escaping from the earth’s surface, mostly in winter months. This is the globular orb energy that is not needed for internal absorption by living plants, so it is allowed to escape and be absorbed by the atmosphere; it is notable at this time that photosynthesis is at a minimum. These orbs follow a parabolic path indicative of the lemniscate connection to higher dimensional energies.

Q         Why are Orbs be attracted to a portal or Vortex?

            Portals are gateways to higher dimensions and as the veil of the portal becomes thinner, so multiple orbs become attracted to these higher energies. As the multiple orbs congregate around the portal, they can do so in a vortex-related manner; this vortex indicates the 3-dimensional nature of the lemniscate connections between the 5th dimension and higher dimensions.

Making their way into reality Orb phenomenon: Not so 'out there' anymore

Miceal Ledwith knows that some will perceive his comparison of the existence of orb to Christopher Columbus' discovery of America as "a bit out there." But then again, he remembers that many thought that making a phone call from his homeland of Ireland to Los Angeles in the 1960s was a bit crazy too. The same goes for television, the Internet and text messages that can reach someone across the world in a second. None of these seemingly unthinkable features seemed possible until we had the capable instruments to do it. Now all you need is a digital camera to capture orb, which many believe are proof of another realm of existence.

Chances are, you've seen on a digital photo with what appears to be one or many balls of light. Are they dust particles, water droplets, lens flare or something more? In The Orb Project, two leading experts in the study of the orb phenomenon, Ledwith and Klaus Heinemann, Ph.D., combine their knowledge and expertise and seemingly reach the same conclusions that orb are messengers from the beyond.

The authors show various examples of orbs in more than 64 pages of stunning, full-color photographs and explain how to discern which are real and which are not. They also provide detailed instructions on how to enhance your chances of capturing orbs in digital photos as well as how to communicate with these mysterious objects from the beyond.

They define orbs as spherical objects that people often started to see in their photographs once point-and-shoot digital cameras became common. Digital cameras are more sensitive to the infrared part of the electromagnetic spectrum, where many orbs seem to occur, than ordinary film cameras.

Ledwith says the study of orbs is as yet in its infancy, but research so far reveals that orbs are beings composed of levels of energy that live in a frequency outside of what we can normally see. "Basically, they are what we would be if we lost our physical body. Some orbs can be presumed to have lived previously in a physical incarnation, and others can be presumed never to have incarnated in the physical in any form of body at all, human or otherwise," he says.

Ledwith, theologian and former college president and adviser to the pope, has studied orbs since 2001 and has more than 150,000 images of them. His fascination with the orb phenomenon has spurred some criticism from those who have called his association with other believers a cult. He says that couldn't be further from the truth, and that understanding the orb phenomenon is something he has always searched for in his academic and theologian career. "This is a logical extension to what I was already doing for years," he says. "I'm finding out more about reality and logical answers to it."

Ledwith believes that reality is frequency based and that orbs are tremendous, powerful proof of that. "Now we can control reality by changing our own frequency. This is fabulous news," he says. "If you are even semi-conscious and willing to take on the responsibility of your own frequency, you can truly make your life what you want. When you change your frequency, look for wisdom, not blaming others for what went wrong in your life."

By changing our frequency, Ledwith says, we can be open to seeing things that weren't possible before. People think they can't see orbs with the naked eye, but that is not the case. They are actually seeing them, but their brain filters them out. "Our brain only lets in what we need every day to function—paying our mortgage, going to work and eating our meals. But once you bombard your brain with orbs and open up your mind, you will see them more and more," he says.

The orbs are more vivid when we are in a relaxed, focused mental state. This is why dogs and children see them more; their brains haven't filtered them out yet or told them that it's too 'out there' to believe.

It's not uncommon for dozens of orbs to appear in a photograph where there is a happy or healing event taking place. Ledwith says that orbs will be drawn to people and places for a reason and that the more we control our brain and lower our frequency, the better the chance they will choose to be seen.

An important tip when shooting orbs is to be patient and to take pictures in the same place every night. It's not something to do on commercial breaks while you're watching a show, for instance. The more you're distracted, the less chance you'll have of seeing them. You should be in a relaxed mental state with little outside interference.

"Don't get frustrated if you don't see any at first," Ledwith says. "We live in an instant gratification society, but if you are willing to invest time and focus, you can relate to these beings."

We've likely all seen them and didn't know what they were unless you knew what to look for. Ledwith compares it to a new car. Once you buy one, you start to notice all of them on the road, after never giving any thought to them before.

Ledwith explains in The Orb Project that orbs are not seen by reflected light, but from light that comes from what is known in physics as fluorescence. Fluorescence occurs in orb photography when the photons from the camera flash strike the orb. The photons are then changed to electrons and augment the electrons that already make up the orb and cause the orb to slightly "swell." When the stimulus of the photons from the flash ceases, the orb shrink back to close to their original size—somewhat like a balloon starting to deflate. The surplus electrons, for which there is now no more room in the shrinking orb, are expelled from the orb and become light photons that reach the camera lens and the digital recording plate.

So the orb images in a normal photograph would therefore seem to be recorded slightly later than the images of the people, cats, dogs, mountains and trees in the picture. These are recorded by reflected light, not by fluorescent light. This fact has a large number of important implications for our understanding of what orb are, and Ledwith found it was the most useful tool he devised in an effort to understand their true nature. For example, it is apparent that orbs are physical, though in a greatly different sense from the realms of the physical we know, and are therefore not to be explained in terms such as ectoplasm that was often used in the past to describe similar phenomena.

Ledwith says that many attempts have been made to dismiss the orb phenomenon as nothing more than reflections of dust particles, pollen or raindrops in the atmosphere. "The extensive research we have carried out concludes that the orb phenomenon is real and cannot be explained away by these suggestions," he says.

The main advantage of the study of the orb phenomenon lies not just in collecting dramatic photographs of these entities but also in what the study can tell us about the nature of reality and our place in it.

"Our traditional understandings of the paranormal, the supernatural, the spirit world and the ghostly, are seen now to stand in sore need of redefinition. Orbs can transmute themselves into or out of cloudy or foggy forms instantly, and sometimes these clouds can take on shapes of persons or objects," he says. "My belief is that seeing this phenomenon in the past is what gave rise to the widespread belief in ghosts throughout all of recorded history."

Ledwith is very passionate about not keeping people in the dark about this discovery. He says it is a tragedy that when people die, they realize all the things that were indeed true and possible, but they weren't open to learning about them in life. He believes that the sooner we can break down barriers between theology and science, the better off we'll be as a society.

Saying that, he won't be shoving it down anyone's throat because that would defeat the whole purpose, he says. You can do with the information what you want. After all, you are in constant control of your reality and are open to many concepts previously perceived impossible.

What would have been regarded as paranormal a century or so ago, such as television or radio, we regard differently now. That advance in knowledge has brought us much more profound understandings of reality, as well as enormous skills in how we can use it to our advantage.

Ledwith acknowledges that he and Heinemann are only pioneers, novices of this discovery, and adds that he has no doubt that communication will be possible with orbs in the future with more advanced technology.

"This is just the beginning just like the first pictures of the moon were and then we landed on it," he says.

Karmic Bonding

   It Shoots Further Than He Dreams by John F. KnottThe knowledge, that certain individuals appear to travel through various incarnations together, has become an ever increasing awareness among many of the more spiritually advanced individuals on this planet. An understanding well known by such ancient religions as the Hindus and the Buddhists. And one distinctly proscribed by the monotheistic mainstream paths such as Christianity, Islam and Judaism. To these three spiritual paths, re-incarnation is anathema. According to their spiritual formulas, life is a one shot deal. One, that at the end of, is either salvation or eternal punishment. A very distinctly polarized definition of spirituality. One without flexibility or forgiveness and doesn't give the Great Mystery many options.

Karma takes a much more balanced approach to the purpose of the soul. One in which every soul must learn and grow in order to progress towards the Great Mystery. And that this “progression” is the sole purpose for all spiritual incarnations. Moreover, these lessons of the spirit must be learned by two, three or even more souls as they travel through various incarnations together. This is Karmic Bonding. It is not necessarily an indefinite process either. But the most beautiful aspect of Karmic Bonding is when two or more souls reach higher levels of spirituality together. This is the true meaning of Karmic bonding

   What is becoming a growing concern among those aware of re-incarnation is why or how this occurs? Moreover, what are the terms, parameters or conditions for such occurrence?

Terms such as “Twin Flame” and “Soul Mate” are often used to define aspects of this process. However, it is not so simplistic. You can have more than one soul mate as you travel through any corporeal re-incarnation. More than one spiritual companion may join with you as you travel through each life path. The various souls each having a different purpose in joining with you. Every one of these spiritual reincarnations is meant to be a learning experience for the growth of that individual towards higher spiritual awareness. All for the purpose of raising each soul to higher levels. Not a given, either.

   Karmic Residue: There is also Karmic residue acquired within each particular life path. This negative residue is accumulated within any re-incarnation and requires adjustment and return to balance before that life path is terminated. Otherwise, it may determine parameters around the next re-incarnation. Plus, this residue may get stronger as age occurs. This acquisition consists of negative spiritual polarities (or experiences) each soul manifests within that particular lifetime. Such polarity shift must be addressed in order to bring the soul back into a balanced state. Sometimes, the extreme differing spiritual polarities of two souls can contribute to bad luck for one by way of the other. One will actually rob good luck from the other and can destroy success in both business and health. Such a   polarity can lead to the destruction of the upward growth of both souls. A disparity which can only be resolved by separation of these individuals from as far away from each other as possible. And permanently.

   So what causes Karmic bonding?

   As each soul incarnates, there will always be same time line returns of other spirits with which that particular soul has inter-acted in the past. There may be a certain aspect of randomness as to how gender, race, age, order of re-incarnation and culture is selected. Certain souls may even be re-incarnated as lesser animal forms. Souls reduced to a lower spiritual level, but re-incarnated for the purpose of learning some higher spiritual experience via the elevated soul they encounter.

The only souls that purposely re-incarnate together are those that have major life lessons to learn from each other or have past transgressions to overcome. Past transgressions are the most difficult to understand, remember and resolve. Yet must be achieved in order to continue re-incarnating at higher levels.

These are the main purposes of Karmic Bonding. To Learn, to grow, or regretfully, to also regress.

   Soul Mates are spiritual companions, that continue to appear together in many lifetimes. All for the purpose of rising to higher spiritual levels. Hopefully, they would do this together. But it is not a given. Often, this return, within any particular re-incarnation, occurs in order to overcome a mistake made in the past by one against the other. If this error is not overcome in one lifetime it must be corrected in the next. Or one or both of the souls may fall to a lower level of spiritual achievement. Possibly even to lower life forms. Each reduction to a lower level makes it just so much more difficult to overcome in the next particular incarnation. Yet, this is not impossible. Many soul mates can reappear as pets. Pets can also rise to higher spirituality thru loyalty and unquestioned love. Both given and received. And human souls can be severely reduced spiritually by maltreatment of animals. Often to re-incarnate as the very animal mistreated. Extensive cruelty to animals can reduce a human spirit to the most base level of existence. To Worms, slugs, flies, pigs, etc. The inverse is also true, as any soul may keep rising to ever higher life forms. Some far beyond the human level and not existing in either this dimension or at an earthly plane, either.

Ultimately, it all depends on how you conduct your spiritual adventure in any lifetime. The end goal is to keep rising to a higher level of spiritual awareness and then move towards re-incarnating at progressively higher dimensions. Each dimensional level comes with greater improvement in the parameters of existence. The ideal Karmic Bonding is for a bonded group of spirits to always reach the next level together.

The soul of Miss 2156, the reincarnation of Elizabeth, was definitely one of those highly developed souls that I have now mentioned a number of times in other articles, so the story of Elizabeth contains a story within a story. This story-within-a-story begins with letters, carefully preserved in the archives of Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

"There is one little lady I hope to arrange a reading for. She is the child prophetess who has been giving, verbally, the most amazing prophecies since she was six months old - when she began to talk. Perhaps you know about her - [2156] is the name." [DS: Reading 2156-1, Background, B2. 2/24/40 Mrs. [1602]'s letter.] "... Well, I met little [2156] the other day and yesterday, I took [1581] down to meet her just before she left for home. Last night Mrs. [1837] called me to say Mrs. [...] [[2156]'s mother] had phoned her on their arrival and said they had a very definite proof of the constant guidance they are under, on the way home. They were on the rear end of the bus and Mrs. [...] had taken off [2156]'s leggings and over-shoes and had her lying down to rest when all of a sudden she jumped up and insisted that her mother put her things on in great haste - which she did - and no sooner was she finished than the whole rear end of the bus burst into flames! They were out in no where, in a heavy snow storm at the time! They were able to get out safely and I believe, other passengers rescued their luggage for them. No one was injured but had it not been for the warning, it might well have been disastrous for them! The child is really lovely. Natural, sweet, happy and good and just radiating light and love. You simply must meet her! Mrs. [...] [[2156]'s mother] is most thrilled at the prospect of having the Reading. You are good to want to do it for her ... the birth date is, September ... , 1935, ... , Pa." [2156-1, Background, B3. 3/17/40 Letter to EC.]

We shall start off with young Miss 2156's first life reading. "3. These should be very sacred to many, and especially this entity, - as it has been and is a chosen channel of manifestations in the material plane of love which the Father hath bestowed upon the children of men. 5. The interpretations of the records as chosen here, then, are given with the desire, the purpose, that this may prove a helpful experience, not only to the entity - for this will come, with the awakening as it reaches those developments of the mental in which there is the greater realization of the closer relationships the entity bears to Creative Forces - but through same to the world about the entity. 8. It is realized that there are unusual, out of the ordinary, associations or activities in the mental and spiritual forces of this entity. 10. And the knowledge of the love that is made manifest in the activity of Him who is the way, the truth, the light, - this should be the story oft told; and in the telling especially of the meeting of the entity - in another experience - with that vessel, that channel [DS: The Virgin Mary.] through which the Prince of Peace and of love and of hope came, the entity may indeed be given that encouragement, that assurance, that hope which will bring greater blessings to the fellow man in this particular sojourn. 18. For, as the entity is sensitive to influences from without itself, it is also sensitive to the thoughts, even, of those with whom it comes in contact.

"25. Before this (in its sojourns) we find the entity was among those who were given a special service in the early activities of the Church, in the bringing of spiritual concepts into the minds of individuals through music. 26. Then the entity was Saint Cecilia [DS: A search on your favorite computer search engine will locate her biography.], - or as Celia the entity was first known, and then known for its abilities in the teaching and ministering to those in the various stages of man's expression and development there, - in the Roman activity and experience of the early Church; for the entity brought hope, patience, understanding. 29. For there will gradually come the growth of the abilities within the entity's experience to not only bring messages of hope and of light to others, but to bring aid - through the very laying on of hands - to those who are not only mentally but physically sick, - to those who are ill at ease, rather than the diseased, throughout the entity's experience. In such a manner, with that tempering, with that training which has been indicated, may the entity be of the greater service.

"31. Then again, before that, we find the entity was in that period from which the greater hope may be expressed; as Elizabeth, the mother of him of whom the Master said, "Among them that are born of woman there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist." 32. So, as the entity was a chosen vessel, a chosen channel for that one who PROCLAIMED the day of the Lord to be at hand, the entity now - manifested in that body known as or called [2156] - may indeed be kept as a channel, by those about the entity, that it, too, may arouse and bring the consciousness in the minds of many that the day of the Lord is indeed at hand. 33. For, whosoever will may come and take of the cup, even as He. For as He hath promised to stand in the places of those who are discouraged, disconsolate, who have lost a vision, lost hope, - so may this entity be that channel through which MANY may take hope, many may be aroused to the awareness that the Lord is nigh, that He standeth at the door of thy consciousness, that ye may be awakened! 34. Then, let there not be a worshipfulness as of the body of the entity, but rather as of its abilities to AROUSE in the hearts and minds of others the KNOWLEDGE that the day of the Lord is at hand!" [2156-1]

A second life reading was requested for Miss 2156, shortly after the first, seeking further details on past incarnations. Here are some of the highlights. "9. As given in the information concerning Elizabeth, - the entity was a channel for the forerunner of the Master, Christ; and, as there is sanctioned, as there is realized in the minds, the hearts of those who would and do distribute the words of the prophetess, HIS ways, God's ways, Christ's ways, are not past finding out, but are ready for those who will harken - and then live in their own lives that as the messenger gave, - "The day of the Lord is at hand!" to all that will harken, that will heed His call! 10. Then, - let all who would sponsor, who would aid this entity in ANY manner, put away from themselves all hate, all malice, all that would cause any to err, and bring THEMSELVES - in THEIR conversation - in keeping with the messages that will come. 11. Thus may that entity as proclaimed to Elizabeth speak to those who are honored with the care of this prophetess!

"24. (Q) In past incarnations, what has been the present mother's association and connection with the entity? [DS: The mother of Miss 2156 did not have a reading.] (A) Close in attendance and care, oft; else the conditions in the present would be too great a burden for any! The present mother was a friend in the experience before this; bemoaning the lack of the appreciation of the entity as the musician and the lover. Before that she was as the closest friend to the entity, Elizabeth; caring for her through that period when the prophet came. Also there have been many other close associations; for, remember, many sojourns have there been for a little while; but these as indicated are the ones that need to be impressed, and pondered in the hearts and minds and purposes of those who foster, who care for the entity, - those who would see God's way among those where strifes, turmoils, disappointments and fears arise in the present. Take warning, then, - and as the mother has gathered in the present, let its prayer oft be, "THY WILL, O GOD! HAVE THY WAY WITH ME!"

"25. (Q) What has been the association of [1837] with the entity? (A) In the experience especially as Elizabeth we find the associations with most of those who would sponsor, who would crown the entity with their voice. But hold not malice against any who deny, lest ye bring condemnation to thyself! We find that the entity, was a friend to the entity, especially during those periods when there was the sacrifice of the father Zacharias; and it is he that ye see shadowing [DS: spirit guide? Guardian Angel?] the entity oft. 26. (Q) Anything else that may be given at this time? (A) Anything else?!! WORLDS! Worlds might be filled with that as might be given! But let each of you here so live the Christ-Consciousness, as manifested in the Master, that you may be counted worthy to be even as those who would gather the crumbs of wisdom that will be manifested through this entity!" [2156-2]

The Sister of John the Baptist was also reincarnated at the time of Edgar Cayce, and her life reading provides us with further details. "21. Before that we find the entity lived in the earth during those periods when there was what was called the preparation for the coming of the Prince of Peace. 22. The entity then was among those in the Palestine land associated more particularly with the entity known as or called John the Baptist, or Elias [DS: also called Elijah] that was for to come, for the announcing of the necessity for the preparations of individuals in their spiritual lives, making through their material associations ways and means and manners for the knowledge of the relationships of man to the Creative Forces in the earth. 23. The entity in those periods was among those who proclaimed those activities, proclaimed those teachings with those in John's own household, John's own undertaking. 24. For the entity then was a sister of that teacher, and a daughter of Elizabeth and Zacharias - in the name Adahr.

"25. In the experience the entity gained much; the entity had much confusion, owing to the teachings of the priests and the rejecting of same by the brother and the acceptance of the teachings of the Essenes; making for doubt and confusion in the experiences of the entity. 26. And only in those answers that came to the inner self was there brought an understanding; for through the entity's OWN expression and seeking there came that answer, "Go tell John the things ye have seen and heard; the lame walk, the blind see, the sick are healed, the poor have the gospel preached unto them." THEN there came in the entity's experience the full meaning of the priesthood in Israel, and how that the lowly Nazarene was that fulfilling of that priesthood in His offering of Himself as the lamb that was not to roll back but to take away the sins of the people. Not as an escape but as an atonement in which each soul does find, would find, the lamb standing EVER as that offering in its relationships as an individual to its fellow man. 27. There the entity gained the most; and these influences, these forces that ever bear witness in the experience of the entity, make in the present experience for the greater help, the greater glory in the activities. 28. And when it is considered how that the entity then made for those oppressions owing to the manner of dress of the brother, that in the next experience bore evidence of the attempts of the entity to adjust itself - by dealing with that of which it berated its brother for his dress, it may be seen how that the law carries through." [1000-14]

Also reincarnated, at the time of Edgar Cayce, was Sofa, the nursemaid to young John. "5. Zacharias was a just man, then living in the hills of Galilee; yet the priest who offered sacrifice for the month Nisan. And when there were those visions or experiences, and his wife Elizabeth conceived, these brought into the experience of those groups - of which this entity, Sofa, was a part - the Essenes - a great deal of questioning, - as to what manner of individual would be required or needed as the helper, or director, or nurse, in the circumstances that would naturally arise if these visions were to be fulfilled. 6. When there has been the experience, then, of the happening of the visit of Mary to Elizabeth, there was the choosing of the dedicated women for this office. 7. This was a reminder to many of what and how the maiden [DS: Mary] had been chosen on the stair. 8. The entity then, Sofa, was one of the women dedicated to service in the temple; not as one that would be called a caretaker, yet these were the offices of the entity - to "touch up" or paint, or to keep certain portions of the temple in order for the activities of the priest. 9. Thus the entity appealed to Zacharias to use his period of preparation as the one to offer the sacrifice, as the time when there would be the choosing of the attendant or nurse to the babe. 10. Hence the entity was chosen by what would be termed, or is termed in the Cabala, the moving of the symbols upon the vesture of the priest. 11. This, then, prevented ANY of those confusions as might have arisen with the entity.

"12. When there was the birth, then, of John (for, remember, he was not called the Baptist until after his death), in the periods of training, the entity also acted as the instructor; as in the position of one who looks after or cares for those through such periods. 13. And (this aside), too often there is not sufficient thought taken as to the care of a developing body through those first eighteen months to two years. 14. Here, though, this entity was chosen by those directing forces as from the temple service itself, or by divine guidance. 15. Thus did the entity fulfill, until the boy, John, was weaned at six years of age. 16. THEN the entity was associated with Jesus with the last year of the experience in the household of Mary and Joseph. While the offices here had been fulfilled by that one as we have indicated, the entity was especially given this office to indicate to the developing child the nature, the character of the cousin. 17. After that period, and the period of education, and the periods when the labor began - from the periods of twelve years to that of seventeen, - when the entity John went to Egypt for the dedication and the preparation there, - the entity was known among those who were as holy women, who acted in the capacity of the mourners at the various functions of the Order, as would be called, of the Essenes.

"18. Later the entity was among those, not THE first but AMONG the first, to be baptized by John in Jordan. 19. The entity also ministered to the needs of John when he was cast in prison, and was among the chief mourners when he was beheaded. 20. The entity also was among those who, during his period in prison, sought Jesus for counsel. And with the answers given, the entity was confused - until there were those reclaiming activities upon the day of Pentecost. 21. Then the entity was old in years, and among those first disturbed by the first edicts that brought death to [DS: the Apostle] James; the entity [DS: Sofa] dying in that period from exposure by the abuse of soldiers in that first raid. 22. As to the period, no losses in spiritual or mental progress might be indicated; rather those periods of confusion that may be the experience of any that are dedicated to an idea, and who in sincerity give of their best through a material sojourn. 23. As to the entity's parents, - these were of the Levites, and those acquainted with many of the activities in the temple.

"26. (Q) To what extent, and over what period of time, did I have a close association with Jesus? (A) As indicated, during a year the entity gave most of the time to indicating to the child Jesus the life, the preparation, and the character of John. Then ONLY meeting same in those periods when, as indicated, coming to Him for counsel. 27. (Q) In choosing to be the nurse of John the Baptist - (A) (Interrupting) Chosen; not choosing but ASKING that there BE a choosing, and chosen by the office, or upon the ephod. 28. (Q) Did I take the vows of celibacy? (A) They didn't take the vows of celibacy! Not to have children during those periods was considered to be ones not thought of by God! 29. (Q) Concerning the fulfillment of those promises which had been a part of the Scripture, please outline the promises for purposes of study. (That is, where in the Bible?) (A) ALL of those recorded by the writers respecting the visit of the disciples of John to Jesus. Then especially 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of John. THERE are the promises that are a part of the promises to the entity, and to all. 36. (Q) Was I associated with Lucius, now Edgar Cayce? If so, how? (A) Acquaintance, and advisor to Lucius." [2175-6]

Other short excerpts from the readings add to our bank of knowledge. "31. (Q) Was Mary and Elizabeth taught in a sacred grove in Egypt for a time by teachers, Elihu and Salome, that they might better instruct their sons, Jesus and John? (A) We do not find this to be true. Their education was rather with those headed by the Essenes through which Zacharias was called as the one to and through whom would come those influences as became the forerunner of the Christ. These were rather in the Palestine land. They [DS: Mary and Elizabeth] were in the Holy Land, and at Mount Moriah." [2067-7] "26. ... Because of the adherence to those visions as proclaimed by Zacharias in the orthodox temple, he (Zacharias) was slain even with his hands upon the horns of the altar. ... while Zacharias was in the temple of Jerusalem. 28. (Q) Were the parents of John the messenger members of the band which prepared for Jesus? (A) As has just been indicated, Zacharias at first was a member of what you would term the orthodox priesthood. Mary and Elizabeth were members of the Essenes, you see; and for this very reason Zacharias kept Elizabeth in the mountains and in the hills. Yet when there was the announcing of the birth and Zacharias proclaimed his belief, the murder, the death took place." [5749-8] "16. ... and through those periods when the Romans robbed Elizabeth of her mate - through the death even at the altar, ..." [1602-4] "21. In the entity's home [DS: She was Naomi, the sister of the Apostles James and John the Beloved.], then, did Elizabeth - of its own kinspeople - dwell; during those portions of its activity among the HOLY women who had dedicated their lives, their bodies, their purposes, their aims, to those changed teachings between John the forerunner and the Master, Jesus." [540-4] This could refer to the home of Naomi, but most likely refers to the home of her parents Zebedee and Mary, where Naomi probably still resided.

It is impossible to deny young Miss 2156's contributions to pre and post Christian history, in her earlier incarnations as Elizabeth and Saint Cecilia. About the Book Soul Awakening, Book I of the Dacque Chronicles is the story of three strangers, who are brought together by accident, or so it appears initially, but who ultimately discover that their unorthodox introductions were arranged by Divine Intervention. It’s Celtic party time!

The Celts celebrated four annual festivals in their sanctuaries or nemeta (nemeton singular) with fairs and merry-making, and religious ceremonies.

           The Celtic year began on the first of November and the festival called Samhain beginning the day before. It marked the beginning of the Celtic year with the approach of winter, taking place at the end of the season of trade and warfare. It was time to take stock of the livestock and decide which were to be slaughtered, and to measure the grain for feeding both animals and humans through the winter. For preserving meat the weather needed to be cool but dry - we can see the connection now with the Corbières custom of killing the pig on the 11th November.

            After slaughter the animals’ bones were burned on huge bonfires. With the bonfire ablaze, the villagers extinguished all other fires. Each family then solemnly lit its hearth from the common flame, thus bonding the families of the village together. Often two bonfires would be built side by side, and the people would walk between the fires as a ritual of purification. Sometimes the cattle and other livestock would also be driven between the fires.

           On this date the veil was at its thinnest between this world and the Otherworld. To some, the Otherworld became visible. Heroes were expected to walk through the ghosts; if they did not succeed, they would disappear until the next Samhain. Some tribes believed that souls of all who had died during the previous year were wandering without rest; now they could travel to the Otherworld.

            It was thought that the Otherworld was the realm of the fairy folk and other supernatural beings, who would entice humans if they could. Wearing a mask, or disguising oneself with a whitened or a blackened face, meant one could evade the ghosts. It is still the custom in some once Celtic countries to set a place for the dead at the Samhain feast, and to tell tales of the ancestors.

          February first, the first day of Spring called Imbolc, was sacred to the great goddess Brigit, Briget or Brigid, known to all the Celtic world. On her feast day of Imbolc, the universal Celtic fertility day, the Goddess Brigit kindles the fire in the earth, preparing the way for spring and the re-emergence of all green things. This stirring of new life is manifested by the first flowing of milk in the udders of ewes, a few weeks before the lambing season. With the goodwill of Brigit, cows never went dry; flowers sprang up in her footprints, eternal Spring reigned.   During the festival agricultural tools were reconsecrated for use, the fire of the smith’s forge was blessed and talismans of rushes, Brigit’s Crosses, were made for the protection of homes. She is associated with healing; healing or sacred wells were named after her. She was also the goddess that supervised brewing!

            She was the Triple Goddess of the great Celtic empire of Brigantia, which included parts of Spain as well as France and the British Isles. On Imbolc, she is revealed in her 3 aspects. As Muse, she inspires bards with the spirit of truth. as guardian of the forge and consort of smiths, she is the patroness of warriors. As the Lady of the Land who knows all herbs, she is the greatest of healers.

            In today’s Languedoc, the Irish Saint Brigitte is associated with sheep and a pastoral economy. She lived in the 5th century and legend says, was baptised by St. Patrick. She is said to have founded the monastery of Kildare; she gave food to the poor and any food she blessed doubled in quantity. She is often pictured with cows or milkmaids and had the ability to change water into beer! And guess what, her saint’s day is the first of February.

            The third festival, Beltaine, 1st May, worshipped the Celtic god Belenos, particularly loved in southern Gaul. Belenos was known as “the Fountain of Barenton - dedicated to Belenosbright shining light.” He was frankly a sun-god, often portrayed as a face among flames, rather like the Roman Sol Invictus, the Invincible Sun, although I have found no evidence to back up this idea; indeed, the Romans associated Belenos with Apollo.   At least 31 inscriptions citing Belenos or Apollo Belenos have been found by archaeologists, more citations than any other Celtic deity. The “Fontaine de Barenton”, the spring that exists in the deep forest of Arthur in Brittany, began its life as a healing source in Celtic times, dedicated to Belenos. He lasted a long time; Ausonius, a poet writing in the late fourth century AD referred to sanctuaries of Belenos at Bordeaux.  

            The festival of Beltaine was concerned with fertility and magical rites to ensure healthy cattle and rich crops. It was the beginning of the Celtic summer.   We know that Valdieu, on the Plateau de Lauzet near Rennes-les-Bains, was named after Belenos. It would be interesting to search there for the nemeton that must have been there, and imagine the great summer festival of Belenos, with his wife Anu by his side, ruling over the dancing people.

            It must have been a wild party. Today, in southern France, you do not marry in May. It’s very unlucky, for you might marry a witch, it’s far better, they say, to wait until June. This story was put about to evade the knowledge that in early days, all the mating was done on the 30th April or the 1st May, and then one waited for a month to see if a pregnancy had ensued, before marrying.  

            In some Celtic countries, I read, there were traditions or processions which were originally held in honour of the festival’s leading deity. There are a few consistent characteristics. In each, there is at least one man dressed in women’s clothes or in a mixture of men and women’s clothes. Sometimes, there are two men, both fantastically dressed, but one is designated a man and the other his wife. In earlier times, people dressed in their best and decorated with ribbons would gather to escort the couple through the streets. One account speaks of the procession being followed by a "rustic comedy" in which the principal figures played a man and his wife being tempted to leave him and elope with another man.

            I’ve seen this sort of thing in Languedoc take place at the Carnaval around March 21st, the first day of Spring, especially strange men with ugly “wives.” They cannot explain where this almost Punch and Judy custom came from. There is also much cross-dressing. On one occasion, young men dressed as girls were walking the streets, when other youths jumped off the carnaval floats and bundled the “girl” into a wicker cage on a large trailer towed by a tractor. When I asked people they just shrugged and grinned and said; “It’s what we do at carnaval time.”

            Belenos was married to Anu. Early medieval historians confused Anu with Anna, the daughter of St. Joseph of Arimathea, I read. This took me completely aback, but further research brought a most interesting story to light. In Welsh mythology Ana figures in the ancient genealogies, particularly genealogy 10 of Harleian MSS 3859. These genealogies proved that most early British monarchs claimed descent from Beli Mawr, a pre-Christian “king” who was really the god, Belenos, who became mortal in the body of the king. The king married Anna (as Belenos married Anu), Anna being the daughter of Joseph of Arimathea and thus the cousin of the Virgin Mary.

            They didn’t know at the time that Joseph of Arimathea was Jesus’s brother, not his uncle, for the doctrine of the Virgin being eternally virgin was well in place, and Jesus’s brothers and sisters were denied, although they are mentioned in the Bible.

            Joseph was instrumental in getting permission from Pontius Pilate to take Jesus down from the cross and bury him in Joseph’s own private tomb. (You can read much more about this in my book, “Looking for Mary M.”) Then Joseph travelled to Britain, for he was already a businessman, dealing in tin and lead from the mines of Devon, Cornwall and Anglesey. At Glastonbury he made a beneficial bargain with the local king to buy “twelve hides of land” on which he built the first Christian church in Britain in 64AD.

            Joseph had married someone called Anna in the Holy Land; their daughter was named after her mother. Presumably she joined her father far, far from home and according to Lawrence Gardner’s family tree in his books about the Sacred Bloodline, Anna was not married to Beli Mawr, but to his father, Bran the Blessed; Beli was her son.

            But Bran died in 10AD; this puts Anna as far too old to be the child of Joseph of Arimathea, who was two years younger than Jesus. So I think Anna really did marry Beli Mawr, who was a Welsh king and not a god at all, around 44AD.

            So what were the medieval monks thinking of? Converting Celtic Gods to Christian ones? Persuading people that Gods married to human beings and producing children was perfectly normal? In that case, Jesus’s case wasn’t unique then? What an insight this story gives us.

            The Feast of Lughnasa on 1st August celebrated the harvest, the rounding-out of the year, connected with the god Lugus. In some regions, the celebration began 15 days before the 1st August, and continued until 15 days after it. (The hunting season began, as it still does, on “the glorious 14th.”)

            Throughout Gaul, Lugus was universally popular, coming across the Pyrenees from Spain. Lugus was skilled in all the arts, associated with light and/or trickery, a web-site tells me.   Trickery? That seems strange. He was also a threefold god; Esus, the God of the invisible world below ground, Toutatis, a god of war, wealth and fertility, also in charge of the rite in which victims were buried in a sacrificial lake, and Taranis, the god of the wheel and of transport. Pictures and carvings of Lugus show him with three heads; he was supposed to have had 3 fathers and possessed three phalluses; beside the regular one, was one on his head and another on his nose.

      In Roman Gaul the feast of Augustus the emperor was on this date of first August, in the town called Lugudunum - today’s Lyon. Augustus named the town in 18BC after Lugus.   (This is not the only town named after him; there was also Lugones in Asturias, northern Spain, and Luguvalium - modern Carlisle.) Before long, Lugus merged into the Roman god, Mercury, with wings on his ankles, flitting up and down to Heaven with messages. Mercury was also most popular with the Romans and the Gallo-Romans.

            Messengers have a lot of power; one can never be quite sure the message received is the one that was sent. This can explain the sense with Lugus that nothing was whatever it seemed to be, hence the trickery. On the Tarot cards much later, Mercury became the Magician. The Magician has everything in front of him on his table and if he appears in a reading for you, he can make life magic for you or, he can predict a salesman type personality who seduces you and then presents you with dead leaves in your hand instead of money. The trickery of Lugus. Fairy gold.  

Many readers won’t need me to tell them these four great Celtic festivals, Samhain, Imbolc, Beltane and Lughnasa are those of the Witchcraft calendar. They still exist.

The Mirror Box

   Many people in the Western World have heard the story of Pandora's Box. Pandora was a young woman, who discovered this magical box; which supposedly contained all the ills of the world. She was advised never to open the box. Extremely curious and willful, Pandora could not resist the urge to see what was inside. So she opened it. Once this was done, all evils and illnesses were let out of the box and into the world.

   Psyche, of Greek legend, was also given another magical box by Aphrodite and instructed never to open it. A command, which Psyche also failed to obey.

   What most people do not know is that each of these magical boxes was a mirror box. Both these boxes of Pandora and Psyche were lined in highly polished silver. A mirror reflects all energy back to its source of origin. A mirror box will bind whatever energy, thought or problem placed inside it for as long as the box remains closed.

   It is possible to build a mirror box and have it lock things within it.

   It must be built of 6 equal sized mirrors for all 6 equal sides of a cube. One face of the cube (the top) must be removable. The other 5 sides should be a permanent and well built part of its construction. The box may be any size, but a 6inch by 6 inch by 6 inch is the good size to start with. Beveled mirrors work best in constructing such a box. Beveled square mirrors may be purchased in groups of 6-12 at any retail construction Emporium. These mirrors are usually 12 inches X 12 inches. There is nothing wrong with a 12 X 12 X 12 box either. If you come from an area with other forms of measurement that is standard, these dimensions may vary.

   What can be locked up within a mirror box?  Any concept, which you wish to banish from your personal life, may be written down on a piece of parchment paper and placed within the box. This will seal the energy of this idea (or person) away from only you. If someone is sending out negative energy to you, in any way, you may banish this energy by writing their full name, exact birth date and/or address on a piece of parchment paper and place it into the box. Once the box is closed the energy should halt. If you are not sure who may be sending this energy, write down the symptoms on the parchment paper (may also be typed as well) and place inside the box. Be sure to cleanse any parchment paper with sage smoke or sea salt before using it, as someone else may also have touched it.

   If you wish to keep someone away from you, a hair from their body or any item that only they have recently touched may also be placed within it. You cannot touch the item, except only with either silk or plastic between your hand and the object. If you have touched whatever you plan to close off, you can accidentally bind yourself to this individual for as long as the box is sealed.

   If you wish to avoid the consequences of any past action, its entire activity and subsequent situations to the current point in time you wish to eliminate, all this must be written down on parchment paper and placed inside the box. No mention of any kind may ever be made about this action again or it will be re-introduced back into the world, essentially defeating the purpose of the mirror box.

   There is no limit as to how many items may be placed within a mirror box other than its physical size; but be aware that every time the box is opened, what is contained within it, will be let out of it for as long as the box is open. Place everything you wish to lock up into it... all at once, if possible. You can always construct another box in the future. The six mirrored sides must always be as clean as possible or some leakage may occur. The six interior mirrors should also join together as closely as possible. This is why beveled mirrors are best. Paint the outside of the box with a reflective black paint to banish any negativity. You may add decoration, if you wish, but a simple black cube is best. The top of the box may also have a lock to prevent others from opening it or in case you change your mind. It may also be buried for permanent activation. If buried, place the box into a large black plastic refuse bag, fold the bag over several times before burying to prevent water leakage and damage.

   Never tell anyone what the box is for or where it is buried.

CANDLE MAGIC

The use of candles for invocation goes far back into the mists of antiquity. To the time beeswax was first discovered. When the awareness that burning wax could illuminate a space for a long time, if sinew or cloth wicks were inserted into hot liquid wax, allowed to cool and then the wick lit on fire.

As the ability to color wax became proficient, it was found that the burning of certain colors created specific energy frequencies. Beneficial resonances would emerge from burning candles made in various colors. It was revealed that burning particular colors could be directed to specific ends. At first discovery was by trial and error. The most common candle by far, prior to the 19^th Century, was a basic cream color used to convey spiritual energy and carry prayers to the Gods. Candles were a form of illumination in all houses of worship across the world. Soon both candles and incense were created and were provided for purchase by the worshipers as a means of spiritual conveyance. Some candles were even combined with fragrances. Candles of Myrrh, Frankincense and other special odors embedded within them became highly desirable. However, only the very wealthy could afford this luxury.

It was with the advanced color technology of the 19^th century along with the invention of standardized chemical dyes, that Candle Magic took a major leap. Now candles could be made in predictable hues of great brilliance and purity. The same technology that became common in coloring wax also affected the history of art as well. Brilliant colors became universal in both fashion, decor and art. The ability to purify wax into a true white also came about. Plus, the creation of waxes made from other materials beside beeswax, made candles easily affordable to the general public.

After the introduction of electricity, candles became more of a mood provider than a source of illumination. And it was in the 20^th Century that Candle Magic reached its full potential. It was during the socially inventive 1960's that candle illumination took on a much more spiritual association and became the preferred source of illumination for drug experimentation, mood creation and love making. It was during this period that the potential for Candle Magic became greatly enhanced.

Wiccans and nature spiritualists have been using candles for magic and invocations since they were first created. This is NOT the type of Candle Magic this article covers. This candle use is primarily for spell casting and invoking esoteric and/or natural forces.

This article is about the releasing of color vibrations through the burning of candles. The burning of wax containing any color...frees this energy. Directing this released energy can accomplish the purposes for which each color is primarily associated.

Now forget everything you have ever learned about Candle Magic and allow a relearning process to begin. It is true that most current Candle Magic information has little, if any, logic to it and is basically an unsubstantiated belief system, much more personal than concrete. There is a true logic to color as all observable color is the result of electromagnetic frequencies that human eyes have evolved to sense. These colors belong to a spectrum exactly like the rainbow. There are 6 basic colors from which all other visible colors are created. These are the primary colors of the artist's palette: The true spectrum of Yellow, Red and Blue. There is another spectrum for the printer's palette which is green, aqua, and orange. I call this the anti-spectrum. The hues of the printer's palette are combined by the eye and the hues of the artist's palette are created by mixing colors chemically. All current color technology in all electronic devices and printing uses the anti-spectrum. The eye mentally combines these anti-spectrum primaries more easily.

It is the Rainbow spectrum that will be used to understand and project Color Magic.The rainbow is the way white light is broken up into distinct vibrations, which come about through various frequencies of energy. This occurs as white light is broken down into its constituent frequencies by a process called refraction. It is this spectrum of vibrations that I shall use to create the candle colors for this article. These frequencies are real and cannot be denied. We see them every day through our common visual experience with nature. Colors that affect us in emotional, physical and spiritual ways. There are three powerful primaries in Nature. Blue, Red and Yellow, Blue has a profound calming and spiritual effect on us and is most commonly associated with the sky, cooling waters and the spiritual self. Red is a bright and passionate color associated with fire, sex and blood. Yellow is a mental color associated with the sun, gold and success. With these primaries, we can combine them and get the secondaries: Green, Orange and Violet. Green is created by combining the frequencies of blue and yellow - spirituality and mind. Thus luck and fertility (also money). Red and Yellow combines passion and mind giving us orange which is creativity. Blue and Red combines spirit and passion to give us violet (or purple) to create health. So we now have our 6 basic candle colors. Blue for spirituality, Red for passion (sex). Yellow for success. Orange for creativity. Green for prosperity (luck, money and fertility). Purple for health (and healing). Now these are all pure and true hues with no other colors mixed with them. Any estrangement from these true and pure hues will degrade their energy potential making them essentially ineffective.

There are two other pure candle hues, but they are not considered colors. There is white for purity and black for banishment. White contains all colors but is pure light without any color revealed. All white objects will contain the reflection of any nearby color so it is best to place any white candle in as neutral a location as possible. When you combine white with any primary or secondary you get a tint and when you combine black with any primary or secondary you get a tone aka a gray. In Candle Magic any gray made with black is improper as it will disrupt the purity of the candle's frequency, so black is never mixed with any color under any circumstances. White, however, makes a tint of purity combined with any primary or secondary. There is only one tint in Candle Magic that is permissible. Red and white combined in equal amounts soften the intensity of passion and become true pink representing mature love. There is one other color permissible to use and it too is not considered an actual color and that is Brown. Brown is considered to be a color gray. Brown represents grounding and fertile soil. True Brown would be equal parts of all the three primaries combined. Any candles that contain all three primaries blue, red and yellow together will make a brown. Which means any combination of green and orange, blue and orange, purple and orange, will make brown. Any combination of green and purple or red and green will also make brown. Plus, any combination of yellow and purple will also create brown. Brown always requires red, blue and yellow all be together in various combinations to make it. It is very important to remember not to burn any candle within 500 feet that could interfere with the frequency of the candle you choose to use. You cannot burn two different colors, within this proximity, at the same time. Especially for different purposes. They will totally interfere with each other. Only white can be burned simultaneously with any other candle and only to purify the surrounding environment. A white candle will not interfere with the focused frequency of any color. It will not create a tint. A focused candle will send its energy to one target. However, having two different colored candles in proximity to each other and aimed at the same or different targets will interfere with each other. This nearness will end up confusing their vibrational frequencies with unpredictable results.

Do NOT accept any candle for this type of magic that appears to be either an improper tint or an obvious grey tone. Candle Magic works best if each candle that is used has the purest hue. Also any candle with cracks or bubbles can cause intermittent disruption in its overall effect. Even defeat its purpose. Never use a scented candle as well. Any scent may disturb, disrupt or defeat the color's purpose. The chemicals used to make scents produce varied frequencies which may not be compatible with your candle's intended purpose.

How to use a Candle to project its' energy.

First: If the Candle is purchased at any retail outlet, it should be cleaned of any contamination by anyone who may have touched it. You can do this with holy water, sage smoke or rubbing alcohol. Or if you have any other methodology of purification, use as your belief system supports. Some people will wash a candle with distilled water let it dry suspended in air by a string and then use. There are even some who will use sea salt to purify their candles. I prefer sage smoke myself. Sage smoke may be used to purify any object as well as entire homes or even work environments. It can even be used to purify oneself of any negative contamination. Sage smoke is used in many Native American rituals for purification.

Second : I personally recommend candles that are surrounded by glass as they are the safest to leave unattended. However, if you choose to use a free standing candle place it into a deep bowl or metal pan. In case it tips over. You must not blow a candle out before its purpose is achieved. So if you must leave the candle for any reason, unattended, place it in the kitchen sink. Most sinks are metal or ceramic, essentially fireproof.

Third: Pay attention to your candle. If it flickers extensively, something is interfering with its purpose. It may be an incompatible object nearby, or a barrier presented by the intended recipient. If the candle goes out, the candle cannot be used and must be discarded. Occasionally a candle is defective, but this is extremely rare. I leave it up to the user to at least try one more time with another candle. Three times should be the maximum number of attempts. Failure to achieve desired results after three successive candle burning means your objective cannot be achieved through this type of Candle Magic. 

Fourth: The candle must be focused. If you do not do this, the energy from the candle will transit out to approx. 300 yards only. And then diminish extremely rapidly. Every living thing within the 300 yards will be affected by the candle's frequency. To prevent this, you must focus the candle's energy by telling the candle where, why and to whom you wish its energy to go. This is done by taking a small 4”X4” piece of parchment paper and writing on it what you wish the candle to do. Write to whom it is to go, their full name and correct birthday and if possible their address or location...if known. Then you must place the candle on top of the parchment during the entire time it is burning. The message must be face up in the direction the candle is burning. In the case of a Love projection, you must add your own full name and birthday at the bottom of the parchment. An intersecting pair of two hearts does not hurt if placed between the two names as well. If you have a photo of you and the intended together and taken at a loving moment, this will assist the candle even further. In the case of any other energy projection only the name and birthday (plus address, if known) is required. A photo of the target helps a projection go directly to it. Even with identical twins, each one would have a different vibration and the candle can tell the difference through the photo. You must state to the candle what you are asking it to do on the parchment paper. For instance, I wish to send healing energy (through a purple candle) to Robert Q. Public born 25 Aug 1986 at 2000 Possible Street, Calgary Canada. You may use a photo of the recipient in any candle projection. They must be alone in the photo if you want all the energy to go to this recipient. All photos are placed down first, face up, then the parchment paper, with writing face up and finally the candle. Light the candle only after it has been cleaned and everything is properly situated. You MUST let the candle burn all the way to its bottom. If you are required to move the candle, place everything on a large plate in proper sequence and then place everything in the center of your kitchen sink. It is highly recommended that any candle always be inside a tall glass if you choose to leave it unattended. 

Be forewarned: This type of Candle Magic only amplifies what is already there. It will not provide desire or energy to anyone who has absolutely no interest in you. The focused pink candle can hasten and intensify love, but will not place any love where there is none. 

Recommended colors for certain basic intentions.

Black. To banish negativity, hostility and stress. 

White. To cleanse or purify an area for the use of any focused candle projection. White candles are the only candle that may be burned anywhere within 300 feet of any color being specifically projected. All other colors may interfere. Black may be burned prior to any projection but not during one. You may burn as many candles of the color you wish to project, but they must all touch the directing parchment paper and/or photo. So 4 is most likely the maximum number physically possible. However, the more candles used the more likely one might prove defective, which also would interfere with your purpose. One is usually best. You can burn two candles together that have only one primary in common. The best example is blue and purple as they both have blue in common and can be used together to heal and upgrade the spirit. Green and yellow have yellow in common and can go together for money and success with emphasis on mental energy. And red and orange have red in common for passion and sexual creativity. These are the only combinations advisable. Red and pink may also be used together. But the emphasis will be on passion with a lessening on love. Passion is a fire that can burn intensely but can also burn out quickly, while love can grow and mature over tremendous periods of both time and Karma 

Blue. To project positive spiritual energy to any individual or a group of people at the same location. A blue candle must be addressed to the intended recipient. A photo works best, if available. 

Red. Projects passion for any career, project or goal and greatly intensifies the desire for sex. You must focus this candle as it could amplify potential desire for anyone in the recipient's immediate vicinity. This candle must be directed to bring the individual's desire only to the sender. This candle does not work if the recipient is not attracted to you in any way. And can backfire if used for improper intentions. It will not work on anyone who has any sexual dysfunction. 

Yellow. This color can be used to project positive mental energy and success vibrations to any recipient and can also be used to improve work environments for mental and/or success purposes. Everyone in its' immediate vicinity will be affected if the candle is not specifically focused. Great for think tanks and intellectual co-operatives. 

Orange. Best for creative incentive. Can be used as a wide field at any business or focused on a particular recipient. Excellent for artists, musicians, designers or creative endeavors of any kind. 

Green. To attract luck, fertility (along with brown for a desired pregnancy) and money. Can be used to enhance a garden or indoor plant areas as well. No need to focus wide field effects such as gardens or plants. Silver or gold coins added to these candles increases luck and money drawing. This candle must be focused if a particular amount of money is desired and the recipient's name, address and birthday are required. Be aware this candle must not be used for Greed. Any amount requested must be reasonable and not excessive. The amount must be written on the parchment as a range such as $300 to $500, etc. It can be used for gambling but that desired result is best achieved by another candle consisting of green and yellow divided into two parts. 

For pregnancy purposes, a green candle must be accompanied by a duplicate brown one and should burn during any attempt to achieve pregnancy. A new set of candles should be used for every attempt up to three attempts. This combination works exceptionally well near the ocean. This candle does not work on anyone with any physical or mental impairment that prevents pregnancy.

Purple. This candle works well for sending a healing energy to anyone, who is ill or in great pain. It can also be used along with a blue candle to help ease someone who is near death. Anyone can burn one of these before any operation to strengthen their health. And this color may be used to speed up healing and to improve health. Again this candle must be specifically directed toward the recipient by name, birthday and location. 

Brown. Used to primarily ground someone or keep them at a certain location. Can be repeatedly burned for lengthy periods until candle's focus is successfully accomplished. This is the only candle that may be used more than three times. However, it must be discontinued immediately once accomplished. Effects can produce long term bonding that is not easy to break. So this candle should not be used carelessly. May be used along with a green candle for successful pregnancy attempts. May be used along with green candle to improve conditions of actual pregnancies as well. 

Split Colors. Several candles have recently been created that consist of split colors. These candles usually have more than one purpose with intentions accomplished at different times of the candle's burning. The two most popular are: 

Red and Black. This is called the auto reverse candle designed to send any negative energy or ill will cast by any individual towards the person who burns this candle. Burning it will return this negative energy to its source ten fold. It works best if focused and directed. Its unfocused range is 1000 yards. It can have very nasty effects on the person receiving the returning energy and should be used with great caution. 

Yellow and Green or Green and Yellow. Although, these candles look similar they are for quite different purposes. The yellow and green candles are used to successfully acquire a well paying job. The green and yellow candles are used to acquire money for a successful business venture or for success in gambling. Adding a coin to the green and yellow candle while it burns is believed to enhance its potential results. Most gamblers use a solid silver dollar. Never halfway measures when it comes to luck. 

Chakra Candles. Have up to eight color segments representing the chakra energy centers of the body.This candle is most effective if used immediately at the start of a New Year to bring all your chakra centers into balance. This candle may be used at any time to bring your Chakras into balance. This candle can also be focused on any recipient but must be specifically addressed.

Note: If any candle fails to completely burn down to bottom or flickers and go out, you cannot relight it. It is best to start with another candle. If each candle repeatedly goes out or constantly flickers, something is interfering with the candle's purpose. It must be either relocated, and/or the interference discovered . Removal of any interference should allow the candle to burn correctly. 

There are many reasons why some candles do not work. Number one is failure to clean it. Another principle cause is intense negativity or doubt on the part of the person using it or someone in close proximity to it. Also the presence of some form of negative generation in the vicinity of the candle. Occasionally, a recipient will sense a candle focused towards them and will resists its purpose. However, the probability of any candle working depends on your own positivity and the strength of your belief in the candle's purpose. No candle, if used improperly, will result in ideal results.

Enhancing Candles through other energy systems

Crystals may be used to enhance a candle's potential. Rose quartz works well with any love candle. These are best used if placed in the four cardinal directions of the Candle's location and must touch the candle. And any crystals used should also be thoroughly cleansed. This is best effected by placing any crystal into a plastic zip lock bag along with a measure of sea salt (also consisting of small crystals) and shaking it thoroughly. Do NOT put sea salt into the garbage...run it with water into your sink's drainage. After cleansing, the four crystals should be placed at the four cardinal directions on top of the piece of parchment paper directing the candle. 

Clear quartz crystals are basically amplifiers and may be used to enhance any candle's energy. They should all be approximately the same size and shape, cleansed and placed in the four cardinal points of the candles location. If flat at one end, have the point in the direction for which it has been placed...have the flat end touching the candle. Crystals may also be additionally enhanced by placing them for exposure to either sunlight or moonlight depending on your particular intent and belief system.

Certain oils may also be used to dress a candle, but be very careful with this as some oils may distort the color's frequency. I recommend High John oil, most often, as it will double the potency of the candle. It must be run as a vertical strip along each of the four cardinal sides of the candle. Do Not combine various oils with this type of Candle Magic as this will definitely interfere with desired results.
